How long have you been a YNPN Phoenix member?
Since March 11, 2017
Favorite YNPN event or memory? (i.e. good time at an event, a favorite event/speaker, something that happened as a result of involvement in YNPN like scoring a new job after a networking event, etc.)
My favorite YNPN event was the one I most recently attended – Lead by Numbers. I thought it had good attendance/participation, very useful information presented effectively. Also, jeopardy! Hard to beat that.
Favorite place in Phoenix to grab lunch?
I work in Mesa and there is a little cafe by my office called Z-Cafe. So, when I go out to lunch during the week I usually go there.
What is one of the most satisfying things about your work?
Working with nonprofits! I love helping nonprofits fulfill their mission and I get to do that everyday by providing our clients with the legal assistance they need to stay in compliance and work effectively.
Who or what is a source of inspiration for you?
What’s one thing you wish the general public knew more about when it comes to your organization/cause?
I enjoy a number of podcasts, but one I’ve really enjoyed lately is The New Activist (presented by a nonprofit called International Justice Mission) that features conversations with activists and leaders tackling some of the world’s biggest humanitarian issues.
What do you hope to contribute to YNPN Phoenix as a new board member?
I hope to lend my time, passion and expertise to help build a strong and growing community of young nonprofit professionals in Phoenix.
